Galilee is a
Christian-based preschool, with more than 25 years of service to the
community. Children are taught Bible stories, verses and songs.
Programs are offered for both 3 and 4 year olds.
Galilee has a letter of
compliance from the State
All teachers have early
childhood certifications
All teachers have been
certified in child and infant CPR and first aid

Two
sessions are held per day for each of the following:
Three
Year Old Program: Tuesday & Thursday
Four
Year Old Program: Monday, Wednesday & Friday

A "TYPICAL" DAY AT GALILEE PRESCHOOL
Galilee Preschool
begins each session with opening exercises including a Bible story,
Bible Memory Verse and songs.
During the lesson time,
the children also learn
- Pledge of Allegiance
- Weather
- Days of the Week
- Colors
- Shapes
- Numbers and letters
The second hour
consists of allowing the children to choose a play activity. Play
activities may emphasize large motor skill development through building
blocks, dress up, water and kitchen play. The children's fine motor
skills are developed using puzzles, games, beads and learning papers.
Each day the children work on an art project refining these skills.
Galilee preschool ends
each day with snacks, fingerplays, songs and show and tell. When
weather permits, we enjoy outside play.
Throughout the day,
Galilee Preschool children learn life and socialization skills such as
following directions, sharing and team work. The main emphasis at
Galilee Preschool is teaching the children to be kind and to love one
another.
